Content Protection - Front developer

Dailymotion is looking for a Front-end developer to join our newly formed Content Protection squad.With hundreds of thousands of videos uploaded every day on the platform, building best-in class tools to protect our partners’ content from online copyright infringement and promote revenue growth is a key priority at dailymotion. To fulfill this ambition, you will join a dedicated agile cross-skills squad, operating as a mini-startup within dailymotion, comprised of core and front developers, UX designer, product manager and agile project manager. As the main Front End Developer for the team, you will be responsible for delivering the best user experience to our partners and users.This is a unique opportunity to combine a fun start-up environment with the massive scale of one of the largest players in the online video industry. Job description

- Engage strong problem-solving skills to quickly convert concepts and ideas into solutions that effectively support the business, and maintain the ability to learn and grow with Dailymotion and with evolving trends in technology
- Participate in definition and roadmap design of new products, features & functionalities for copyright owners
- Develop new product, features and functionalities dedicated to copyright owners
- Contribute to scoping and estimating discussions, work with business owner and project manager as needed
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability in the changing needs of the business
- Maintain and optimize the current codebase
- Enforce best practices (tests, coding guidelines, code reviews…)
- Actively communicate with managers and business owners throughout the course of projects.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 2 year experience in a related position/field
- Knows React and Flux (knowing other SPA frameworks like AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js is a plus)
- Good knowledge of JS ES2015, OO PHP, jQuery
- Knows HTML5, CSS3
- Knows TWIG or similar templating languages
- Attitude of creating high quality code, learning from peers and always innovating
- Experience using git
- Side Project is a plus
- User experience orientedGood English level both spoken and written
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate technical details in a non-technical fashion and vice versa
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodology
- Team spirited, proactive attitude and ability to function in a global and fast evolving environment
